Development update for V2

Hello!

Risk of Infection has been up for about 2 months and has over 5000 downloads~ Thanks to everyone who has tried the game and an even bigger thanks to people who have donated!

I wanted to tell everyone that v2 is well under development and I'm making art for it currently. And believe me, there's a lot of it! >_< It's OK thou' since I'm on vacation and I have full days to work on the game. I'll see where I am in 2 weeks at the end of my vacation. After the art is ready I have to have 1-2 weeks for testing.

v2 will expand the main story with about 2-3 quests depending how you define 'a quest'. I'm also looking to add some side quests and dungeons. There will be 2 new playable characters with accompanying skills and equipment. I have been looking into enhancing the combat at least visually to make it more clear who is hitting who and what kind of damage is done to which enemy etc. If nothing else, the combat will be much more visually pleasing in v2.

I've mentioned this before, but v2 will have a price tag of 3$. I think the game is big enough at that point to justify the cost. The people who have already donated are eligible for a free copy in my eyes. I just need to figure out if I can get the codes out to y'all in some easy way. :3

If I donate 3 bucks now could I get the copy as well as I just turned in my paycheck from work yesterday

What I've understood from itch's Q&A, if you donate ANY amount now you'll be eligible to all the paid versions of the game later by default (you should receive a download key from donating). So you can also donate the minimum $2 to get the DL key as far as I have understood how itch's system works.

All the game was created by yourself? amazing! I love it!

Thanks. Yeah it's a 1-man project.

Will there be other languages besides English? I can help with Russian... if necessary, of course. and I really like your game and art.

There won't, at least by me, since I can only speak and write english and finnish fluently enough for a translation. I won't go out on my way to pay for translators, but if anyone wants to make a fan translation, I'm glad to feature it on the page.
